Greetings to all.

Starting on April 16th, we are introducing a new event which will take place over 2 quests. They are aptly named:

Easter Magazine (EpI)

Easter Bouquet (EpII)

In Easter Magazine, you will be hunting High Hit Game Magazines, and in Easter Bouquet, you will be hunting High Hit Flower Bouquets.

Both quests have 3 areas in them

Rules & Details
  • Magazines and Flower Bouquets will only drop in Ultimate difficulty.

The highest hit weapon from each episode will get recorded in a server flag. Only 1 person in a team needs to pick it up in order for the entire team to get credit.

Each Episode will have 3 teams as winners (4 players per team), so a total of 24 winners), top 3 highest hit.

A player can't win a prize in both Episode I and Episode II, instead they will win whichever Episode they place highest in.

If teams/players have a tie for the highest hit, (lets say 70 hit), the team finding the highest hit first will win 1st prize.

Hit will range from 5% Untekked - 90% Untekked. If a team finds 90% untekked hit, they will automatically be declared the winner of that Episode. (2nd and 3rd place will be up for grabs). In the event that other teams find 90 hit, they will win 2nd prize or 3rd prize, where applicable.

Both Quests will be available in Crossplay for GC, Xbox, and BB.

Event period will last 2 full weeks. (April 16th - April 30th)
Prizes

1st Prize = Highest Hit % / 2 PDs (so if 90H is found, winners all get 45 PDs)

2nd Prize = Highest Hit % / 3 PDs

3rd Prize = Highest Hit % / 4 PDs

PD prize will be rounded up if not a round number.

Quest Information

The base quests used for these events are 2 new quests (which will be available for regular play after Easter) called Haphazard Struggle #1 & Haphazard Struggle #2. Both feature random monsters in the style of challenge mode, so wave numbers, and monsters per wave will be pretty random.

An NPC will show you your hit score (pictured below)

Quests were made by Kayak, however 95% of all Pioneer 2 dialogue was written by Hysteria.

Montague has some features such as showing the monster count for the quest. This is relevant because certain monsters (1 per area) will have a much higher chance to drop the searched for item, however to do this, you must use a charge on your Photon Cube, and it must have been charging for a couple hours. Perhaps he has another feature too?
